Careful work throughout the year and treatments carried out under an integrated protection regime guarantee totally healthy grapes. On the other hand, the low yields controlled by pruning and weeding the bunches, carried out with great rigour, ensure a higher quality raw material.

The Rice Museum
The Rice Museum was founded to honour rice cultivation and showcase the region’s traditions.
In this cultural space you can step back in time and better understand the importance of this cereal in the history of Herdade da Comporta.
Visits to the Rice Museum are by appointment only and only for groups of more than 10 people.
It is possible to book joint visits to the Rice Museum and the Herdade da Comporta Winery.
